Company Profile

Halesowen Business Services was founded in 1995 by Paul Hill and Patricia Harris, primarily as a quality supplier of Diamond Impregnated Tungsten Carbide for the Oil & Gas related Industries.

Paul has been in the Tungsten Carbide industry since 1968 having worked for the world's largest carbide producer for 22 of those years.

Due to a vastly increased customer and product base, the company expanded and became Limited in December 2002. At the same time Jennifer Nicholls was appointed as Financial Director.

Jenny had previously been employed by Industrial Carbides Limited and also brought to the company, her customer and product knowledge in the Tungsten Carbide field.

In 2003, Polycrystalline Diamond products were introduced to the product range and this now forms a major part of the current business.

In 2004, Hard Materials Limited was acquired. This brought with it numerous new products which vastly increased the range of materials now offered. See also www.hardmaterials.net

Also at this time Joanne Bamford was appointed as Commercial Director to further improve customer service within the commercial and sales department.

2007 saw the appointment of Gail Troth as Company Secretary.

Our new range of Products is shown on our web site and includes material for Engineering, Oil & Gas, Farrier, Electronics, Woodworking, Paper, Automotive and Aerospace Industries. Full Certification can be supplied with all of our Products.
